MID-YR Phobia
(23 to 28 June 06)
This whole week had really been taxing and mind-boggling. Litres of brain juice are being wasted just to regurgitate what we have studied for Mid-years. Well, lets start off with GP.
GP
Well as expected I did not study for this subject at all just did the majority. Out of the papers, Gp is the easiest. Your mind can be running wildly, trying to garner ideas for the storyline. As usual i challenged myself to writing Argumentative essay which the minority did for my choice of question. And this time round, for the compre vocabulary section, it is the first time i feel that the words are all so familiar and scoring 4 out of 5 should be not much of a problem. Hmm..the compre we had was really an eye-opener..it is just different from what we had back in sec education.
Maths
Well, i could say this paper is the toughest. This paper is also the paper which many pple created a woo-ha out of it, cursing the level of difficulty. Well, time management is a key factor here. Majority couldnt finish the paper in time. Pple were starting to get off their feets for the last 10 minutes.
Chemistry
Hmm..Content-based. Many things to memorise..The paper was quite manageable except for some tricky parts here and there. Many things to write and essay-length answers just apppeared on pages of my answer booklet.
Physics
Another subject which pple kept complaining about. The MCQ was seriously tough. 30 minutes for 15 questions which was a mission impossible. The structured was also quite tough.
